IBPS PO Main Exam Analysis and Cutoff – 31 October 2015

Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has conducted Main exam successfully on 31 October 2015. The exam was conducted in two shifts. IBPS has already conducted online Preliminary exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (POs) on 03, 04 and 10 October 2015. This is the first time that IBPS has adopted two tier exam pattern for POs. State bank of India (SBI) has already concluded two tier written exam pattern for POs.

Exam Analysis_Main_31 oct 2015Exam Pattern: The exam consists of 5 sections that include Quantitative Aptitude (50 Qns), Reasoning (50 Qns), English Language (40 Qns), General Awareness (40 Qns) and Computer Knowledge (20 Qns). The total time given was 2 hours.

Exam Analysis: The exam was conducted in 2 slots. The paper was difficult especially if we compare with Preliminary exam. Among sections, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning was tough. General Awareness and Computer Knowledge were relatively easy and less time consuming. Overall the whole paper was of moderate to difficult level.

Computer Knowledge: This section comprised of 20 questions. This section were of 20 marks only. This section was easiest among all the sections. The questions asked in this section were on
